Police stand outside what is believed to be Darren Osborne’s home.
The 47-year-old attacker who rammed a rental van into a crowd of worshipers outside a London mosque had cursed Muslims and vowed to “do some damage” while drinking at a pub on Saturday evening, witnesses said.
“He got chucked out as he was so drunk,” a pub patron said of Darren Osborne, according to the Daily Mail. “He was cursing Muslims and saying he would do some damage.”
Another barfly described Osborne as “a loud and aggressive person.”
“He’s always shouting the odds if anyone disagrees with him,” the patron said.
Osborne injured 11 people when he drove his white van into a crowd outside the Finsbury Park Mosque just after evening prayers.
The worshipers had been helping an elderly man who had collapsed outside. He later died, but police said it’s still unclear what caused his death.
