The 305 Daiquiri
Recipe by Stephen Palahach, Bartender at Brooklyn’s James Beard Award-winning Maison Premiere
“One of the reasons we turn to Stephen Palahach is for the unique riffs he creates inspired by locale and tradition. He served this version of a Daiquiri at his own South Florida wedding—note the numbers 305, aka the Miami area code. Guatemalan rum plays nicely with the Italian apéritif Aperol for a slightly less boozy, slightly more fruity, and definitely more bitter sipper, ideal for serving poolside the day after the wedding.” —Patrick
